Avows is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and skilled Mobile Developer with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience utilizing Kotlin or Swift to join our banking and technology team onsite (WFO) in Jakarta, Indonesia, under a PKWT fixed-term contract. In this specialized mobile engineering role, you will spearhead designing, developing, testing, and deploying native Android and iOS mobile applications for banking and financial services platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to build responsive, secure, and high-performance mobile software solutions. Detailed Job Description:

As a Mobile Developer at Avows in Jakarta, you will take full ownership of building, optimizing, and maintaining feature-rich native mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass developing clean, maintainable code in Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS, integrating secure RESTful APIs, and implementing robust local data storage and authentication flows. You will participate actively in Agile sprint planning, code reviews, unit testing, and performance profiling to ensure smooth user experiences and zero crashes across production mobile releases. Working in a collaborative onsite environment, you will troubleshoot device-specific issues and ensure strict adherence to mobile security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust native mobile applications for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) platforms.
• Integrate secure RESTful APIs, JSON web tokens, and OAuth authentication workflows within mobile architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering, UI/UX design, and backend teams in Agile sprints.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and UI testing to ensure high app performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production bugs, memory leaks, and device-specific compatibility issues.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, API contracts, and mobile release architecture diagrams.
• Optimize local database storage, caching mechanisms, and network data usage on mobile devices.
• Adhere strictly to mobile security guidelines, data encryption standards, and project delivery timelines.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and cross-functional release coordination.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 2 to 3 years of professional software development experience specializing in mobile application engineering.
• Strong hands-on professional expertise in Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS) development.
• Practical knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture) and asynchronous programming.
• Proven ability to consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party libraries and SDKs securely.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Professional availability for onsite deployment (WFO) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
• Familiarity with PKWT fixed-term employment contract frameworks in Indonesia.
