**Purpose of the Role**: To support the sales team in Peru in the process of winning new adoptions and growing our share in the market by conducting product presentations and working hand in hand with sales reps. To help maintain current users through strengthening our academic services portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using the understanding of educational trends in the ELT & International Education markets to improve the portfolio of academic services that Macmillan Education offers to institutions.
- Planning, preparing and delivering high quality training sessions aimed at supporting teachers’ professional development.
- Working closely with the sales team in Peru to ensure the consistent and effective delivery of teacher training and academic consultancy in ELT to current and potential customers to help close adoptions
- Building and maintaining knowledge of Macmillan Education products for internal and external training delivery.
- Supporting schools, PLS and universities with acquired academic commitments, such as conducting class observations, placement tests, consultancy and syllabus design, among others.
- Supporting customers on the use and implementation of various Macmillan Education platforms.
- Sales team: The Academic Consultant is responsible for working hand in hand with the sales team, training sales reps on product knowledge on a frequent basis and visiting potential customers to help close adoptions (as our sales reps are not bilingual and many product presentations are requested in English)

**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in education, translation (desirable), or a related university major
- A minimum of C1 level of English
- Common European Framework of References.
- Ability to effectively present and/or teach to potentially large audiences.
- A good level of IT skills (Use of ELT Learning Management Systems).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in English Language Teaching (No specific age group/level required - a mix is preferable).
- Experience as a teacher trainer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative attitude to working effectively and flexibly in a team and build relationships at all levels
