About your position:
As a Purchasing Analyst you will be responsible for managing external purchases (suppliers different than Alfa Laval) and ensuring efficiency in costs and delivery times in all sales companies in the Andean & Central America region (Panama, Bogotá and Lima Offices).

About the responsibilities of your position:

- Manage direct purchase requests, related to sales and projects, and indirect purchase requests of marketing, administration, finance, human resources, consumables for operations, IT equipment, etc.
- Ensure that the purchasing and contracting process is optimal and transparent in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Develop and establish purchasing strategies for the assigned categories, complementing with a TCO analysis, search for new suppliers and market analysis.
- Track purchase orders until confirmation of delivery and billing.
- Coordinate with the accounting area any deviation of supplier invoices and their payments.
- Provide office support to ensure proper functioning, this may include handling the replacement of office items, equipment, administrative assistance, messaging, etc.
- Provide support to the Team Leader Customer Service, Logistics & Purchasing in everything related to purchasing and warehouses.
- Keep the purchasing and warehouse area indicators updated.

About what you need to take on this position:

- Bachelor’s degree from Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar careers.
- Have experience of 3/4 years or more in positions with similar responsibilities.
- English language proficiency.
- A high degree of curiosity to maintain the constant search for new ways of doing things and propose optimization solutions.
- Competencies focused on excellence in customer service, curiosity to learn and ability to relate in the organization.
- A lot of proactivity and desire to generate value for the company.
- Office 365 proficiency (mainly advanced excel proficiency)
