Security Investigator

**DUTIES**:
While reporting to the Agency Head / Attaché of the US Secret Service (USSS) in Lima, Peru, incumbent will work as an investigative specialist to support the investigative and protective missions of the USSS. The employee is responsible for conducting complex transnational financial, and cyber enabled criminal investigations and all other criminal statutes under USSS jurisdiction. The employee is also responsible for coordinating protective missions for any US diplomats who are afforded protection by the USSS. The employee is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high level government officials within law enforcement, judicial branches, and private sector entities throughout Latin America in furtherance of these job duties. The employee will also be responsible for coordinating and providing training in furtherance of the investigative and protective duties described herein. Job holder will require moderate travel, a flexible schedule and a great deal of independence and initiative.

The employee will assist the Administrative Officer with administrative duties related to the management of the office budget and procurement within the embassy. The employee will also be responsible for the maintenance, registration and inspection of the government owned vehicles assigned to the USSS Lima office.

**EXPERIENCE**:
A minimum of five years of work experience in the law enforcement or judicial sector of the host or U.S. government is required.

Must have at least five years of driving experience.

**EDUCATION**:
At least 4 years of post-secondary studies in law, law enforcement/military, finance, business administration, public administration or computer sciences is required.

Must hold a Driver's license with at least five years of issuance.
