**Job Scope**

This is an individual contributor role responsible for identifying business development, to increase digital payments penetration in Peru, by working with Acquirers, Third Party Agents and other internal and external stakeholders. Position will be located at the Visa office in Lima, Peru.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the execution of the MS&A Strategy for the country in coordination with the local team, Country Manager and Andean Regional Structure.
- Add value to strategic Acquirers and Third Party Agents through the development and implementation of initiatives which increase acceptance and use of Visa products and services
- Negotiate and close deals, utilizing a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client’s business objectives are met
- Develop and lead the strategic alliances with Acquirers and merchants, and other stakeholders to achieve brand preference including initiatives related to solutioning and innovation
- Execute short and long-term strategic plans for clients and market goals. Ensure that such plans adhere to the Visa leadership principles and increasing clients’ profitability, strengthening the partnership within them, and also being in agreement with Visa Inc. overall strategy
- Analyze market data to identify Merchant and Acquiring development opportunities in line with the plans
- Responsible for measuring and monitoring the results of those initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
- Ability to identify, implement and track business projects and its KPI’s
- Excellent presentation skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Excellent sales, account management, presentation and strategic planning skills
- Analytical skills (ability to identify tendencies, forecasts etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- +8 years of professional experience in sales /business development in the financial services industry or payments industry
- Bachelor’s Degree “business/ economic”
