**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**

The Project Risk Lead is principally responsible for:

- Deliver to the Project Execution Plan
- Liaise with Bechtel and client leaders in all aspects of the project risk management process
- Facilitate risk workshops (identification, assessment to treatment)
- Conduct risk analysis and evaluation activities
- Ensure the review of risk activities is performed in accordance with project requirements
- Coordinate the timely delivery of risk status reports to project management
- Mentor projects leaders in risk awareness
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and risk working group with the Company
- Provide training on the risk management process and risk assessment techniques to project staff
- Act as the custodian for project risk management processes in the region
- Ability to work with limited supervision to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously under pressure

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Basic Qualifications**

The Project Risk Lead shall be knowledgeable and/or experienced in:

- Bachelor’s degree in the area of project management, risk management, engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant risk management experience.

**Additional Qualifications**
- Proficiency with at least 5 years’ experience in project risk management, including development and facilitation of workshops
- Experience leading teams
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Effective communicator - oral and written across Spanish and English
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and oral
- Competent working knowledge of computer skills, especially the Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and use of risk management software - an advantage would be ARM
- Familiarity with risk management philosophy
- Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work autonomously
