**QUALITY CONTROL TEAM LEAD (control de calidad)**
- **Location**:_ Peru Office
- **Role**:_

Train and lead a team of Auditors to conduct end of line quality audits in the manufacturing process with suppliers,

Ensure that all Cuddle and Kind samples and products meet quality and safety company standards;
Develop and maintain quality control policies and processes;
Work closely with all Peru exporters to improve Quality programs

Work closely with Head of QC Toronto to ensure compliance on all C+K products;
Investigate and correct quality-related issues during production and sampling;
Collaborate with Product Development (PD) and Innovation team in both Peru and Toronto to identify and correct all potential critical QC issues during product development, and before final approval;
Manage all shipping documentation for all samples sent from Lima office.
- **Responsibilities**:_

Manage, resource and train C+K QC Auditors to follow QC processes, and perform accurate and efficient audits;
Review new designs with Auditors and suppliers for training, ensuring they are fully resourced with approved Tech packs, patterns and approved samples, and are clear on all critical QC issues;
Schedule audits with each supplier, monitoring the progress of each audit, problem solving technical issues and correcting and/or retraining where necessary. Accompany auditors off site for first QC audit of all new designs;
Communicate regularly with suppliers with prompt follow up regarding QC audit issues, and provide cost effective solutions and technical support on fixes to be made. Document all QC product issues found and oversee continuous supplier training, as applicable;
Work closely with Head of Innovation, Technical Designer and Head of PD Workroom to identify critical QC issues from 1st round of new design Prototypes and samples;
Develop and maintain all QC documentation and processes to include checklists, reports, Airtable, faults/issues improvement plans, auditing schedules, etc to ensure compliance with C+K Quality and safety standards and expectations;
Ensure all PD samples are thoroughly inspected with accurate and detailed POM records before leaving Lima office;
Meet with C+K Production Planner (Gabriela) for weekly review of supplier audit priorities;
Review suppliers TOP20 and TOP100 samples at start of new POs, and review 1 sample with Head of Innovation (CF) for final approval and confirmation;
Conduct reviews, (verbal and digital), with suppliers outlining actions and plan to be taken for poor audit results;
Organise and prepare samples and color documentation to be sent to CMA lab testing,

Organise and prepare all samples and documentation for Photoshoot, Marketing and DHL shipping.
- **Requirements**:_

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Control in têxtiles and knit

Strong team lead, coaching and coordination skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of knit tension and stitches, and knit yarn behaviour;
Good handwork skills - embroidery, handknitting, crotchet, knit seam closing. (Machine knitting is a bonus);
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools including tape measures, scales, calipers;
Must have strong knowledge of garment/accessories construction, quality standards, specs, measurements, sewing;
Ability to identify quality issues promptly and with high level problem-solving skills;
Detail oriented and quality minded;
Ability to work independently, as well as with a team;
Must have the personality to enforce the company’s quality standards and expectation when dealing with suppliers, while at the same time maintaining a professional demeanour;
Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi task;
Bilingual in English/Spanish;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Positive work attitude and etiquette.

Pay: S/.3,000.00 - S/.4,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- quality control inspection: 1 year (preferred)
