**Sales & Reservations Executive**

Aqua Expeditions is seeking a Reservations Executive to cater to both our Direct and Trade clients for the EMEA region to join our inside sales team

As a Reservations Executive, you will manage and grow our direct and Trade customer base for the EMEA region. This person is responsible for actively selling our luxury small ship cruises by developing strong customer relationships and proactively managing prospective clients. You are intuitive, with a heightened ability to anticipate customer needs as you manage the entire sales and booking cycle.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Determine clients' needs and wishes and suggest suitable cruise options
- Supply customers with pertinent information and useful travel materials to influence decision making
- Provide customers with timely, high-quality, and personalized service
- Resolve customer concerns with the goal of converting inquiries to bookings
- Reach and exceed revenue targets
- Conduct personalized outreach to past direct customers to promote new destinations
- Cross-sell or up-sell when appropriate
- Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for rebooking and refund requests
- Listen and document feedback from customers and suggest improvements in sales, marketing and operations processes whenever appropriate
**ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Confirm reservations and manage the entire booking process from lead inquiry to post-travel follow up
- Track and collect payments
- Follow-up on pre-and-post travel needs and special requests
- Ensure proper and timely collection of customers’ personal information and special requests
- Maintain and own the direct customer database, while effectively managing content in CRM with an eye for detail
- Liaise with operations to relay customer requests
- Review customer feedback from operations and comment cards
- Booking of press trips in coordination with marketing and PR team when it relates to the Blu and the Mekong.
- Manage direct charter requests
- Track promotions and proactively promote to direct customers
- Liaise with accounting team when necessary
**Education / Degree**
- Undergraduate Degree with a preference for education in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or other relevant fields

**Experience**
- Tech savvy, with an ability to learn new computer systems quickly and effectively
- Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
- An informed understanding of the North American consumer and traveler
- Personal travel experience a plus
**Language / Level**
- Native English speaking or fluent in English is a must
- Multilingualism is a plus

**Location, Salary and Administration**
- This is an independent contractor role, offering flexibility for working hours within the North America time zones and the opportunity to work remotely
- Monthly fixed contractor fee to be determined based on experience
