Assistant Editor

We are looking for a video editor to edit videos in English. Crime podcast video narrated fully in English. You need to be able to fully understand English to edit correctly.
- Editing English videos for the Employer's YouTube channel.
- Incorporating visual effects, transitions, music, and relevant video clips to enhance the video narrative according to YouTubers style and follow instructions.
- Experience editing videos with CapCut.
- Collaborating with the YouTuber and other editor to understand the vision and editing style.
- Participating in research and online communication with the YouTuber and other editors.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all worked content.
- Meeting established deadlines and maintaining clear communication. Follow schedule as established, punctuality is key. Rapid and clear communication is essential.
- Edit videos and post them to social media according to the provided specifications and guidelines.
- Maintain quality and consistency in editing.
- Work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Employer.
- Adhere to all copyright laws and ensure that all images and clips used are copyright-free.

It is the Editor's sole responsibility to research and identify permissible clips, including interview footage, audio recordings, photographs of individuals, and content from news channels, ensuring compliance with copyright laws and regulations. Editor should give credit to all material that requires it to not infringe copyrights. If any clips need recognition for being used, this will go on the description box of YouTube video. You are not posting any videos to YouTube, simply editing them and letting us know of copyright acknowledgments necessary, if any. The Editor shall refrain from using any materials that infringe upon third-party copyrights without proper authorization or licensing.
- Edit 2 videos per week for YouTube according to the provided guidelines. Videos are about 1 hour and 40 minutes long, some shorter, some longer.
- For each video, provide corresponding clips and reels.

100 soles paid weekly, fully remote.

REQUIRED:
High speed internet and functional laptop/PC that supports heavy editing.
