**Role**:
You will collaborate with RINA’s interdisciplinary team of consultants and engineers delivering EHSS services primarily in the Americas. As an experienced consultant, you will deliver environmental, health, safety, and social consultancy services to our clients in the form of compliance with IFC Performance Standards and regulations review, social risk management evaluations, due diligence services, and sustainability assessments. Additionally, you will develop client relationships and endeavor to provide environmentally and socially sound and sustainable development advisory services.
**Qualification and Experience**:
- MS or MA degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Development, International Development, Sociology and Policy.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience related to the development of impact studies environmental, social baselines, involuntary resettlement action plans, stakeholder engagement, indigenous peoples’ plan, and management systems.
- Knowledge of environmental, health and safety issues and Good International Industry Practice of the Energy / Infrastructure sectors.
- Experience in environmental and social due diligence as well as environmental and social impact assessments for large complex projects.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish is mandatory;
- Excellent writing skills in English is essential.
- Availability to travel worldwide on short assignments (one to two weeks per month). For this position, residence in various territories within the Americas is acceptable, especially Canada, the USA, Mexico, Chile, or Colombia.
