Aeralife is seeking a values-driven Executive Manager, Governance and Risk to join our growing organisation. Reporting to the Head of Group Operations, this is a pivotal opportunity for a proven clinical governance leader to partner with the Head of Group Operations, Regional Operations and Residence Managers to drive clinical excellence across our Residential Aged Care portfolio – fostering high-quality care, compliance, and continuous improvement, while delivering meaningful outcomes for residents, staff, and families alike. What You’ll Do - Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality framework that supports optimal outcomes in relation to quality assessment and monitoring, complaints resolution, education, and consumer engagement. - Maintain contemporary quality and care governance systems by ensuring currency of national and international trends in the aged care environment. - Oversee the formulation of responses and or reports to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and other relevant regulatory bodies. - Oversight of the dashboard functionality of the electronic care management system to ensure transparency of KPI’s across the Homes. - Formulate high level executive summary on monthly trending. - Identify and develop organisational quality improvements in collaboration with the Operational Teams. - Advise and identify risk management strategies across the business in line with regulatory requirements. - Initiate reviews and assist in the development of action plans and support the Homes in improved resident outcomes. - Monitor and review existing processes and systems to support quality-based service delivery that focuses on positive care consumer outcomes. - Ensure strong governance and accountability across all areas of clinical services and risk management - Lead the implementation of clinical frameworks that drive compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement - Ensure contemporary practices which align to legislative requirements for Infection Control practices are adopted in the Quality Framework and principles. - Represent Aeralife with integrity and professionalism across internal and external stakeholder engagements. What You Bring to the Role - AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. - Extensive experience in the aged care or health services sector, with tertiary qualifications in health, management of a related discipline. - Sound and contemporary understanding of the legislative and procedural frameworks which underpin the residential aged care sector, including the new accreditation standards. - A natural ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams. - A strategic thinker with operational agility and sound judgment. - An extensive knowledge of quality systems and quality improvement and risk management frameworks are also essential attributes.
