Base pay range $43.00/hr - $50.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Tucker Parker Smith Group (TPS Group) Job Title: Revenue Cycle Application Analyst I Location: Los Angeles, CA (Open to Remote) Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Pay Rate: $43 - $50 per hour (Non-Exempt) Position Summary: Our client, a leading private university is Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Revenue Cycle Application Analyst I to join their medical enterprise IT and Revenue Cycle Operations team. In this critical role, you’ll be instrumental in supporting, maintaining, and improving our revenue cycle systems. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will help design, develop, and implement IT solutions that directly impact patient billing, registration, coding, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare systems and a customer-focused approach to application support. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as application administrator for revenue cycle systems (e.g., Soarian Financials, Cerner, MedSeries 4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, and others). - Analyze and document user needs and system functionality to design effective IT solutions. - Maintain system integrity, security, and performance; manage upgrades, implementations, and conversions. - Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to understand workflows and enhance efficiency. - Design and generate standard and custom reports using Soarian Reporting, IBM Showcase, QlikView, CCL, OnDemand, and more. - Provide outstanding technical support and customer service to users across departments. - Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying innovative solutions to optimize system and business workflows. - Assist in end-user training and onboarding for new systems and updates. - Participate in on-call support rotation and other assigned duties. Qualifications: - Minimum of Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of business or IT support experience, ideally within a healthcare environment. - Familiarity with Revenue Cycle functions such as scheduling, registration, HIM coding, billing, and patient accounting. - Experience with one or more of the following systems: Soarian Financials, PBAR, MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive, PatientKeeper, or related platforms. - Healthcare experience in ambulatory and/or acute care settings. - Working knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices. - Prior experience creating reports and dashboards using tools like QlikView or IBM Showcase.
