This opportunity requires you to work three times a week in SAP Lima office.
What you will do:
1. Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.
2. Design and implement Test plans that include functional, regression, system and integration tests.
3. Execute complex manual and automated test cases.
4. Create and maintain test scripts.
5. Build innovative automation systems to facilitate both function and performance testing.
6. Build tools to generate customer-like data in test systems.
7. Work with development and test teams to build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applications.
8. Research new emerging tools and enhance existing automated test systems.
9. Participate in architecture discussions to design tests for Kubernetes and Cloud Platforms.
10. Represent the team and help manage the team's deliverables/commitments.
11. Review software specifications & design and develop test plans/strategies for various software.
What you bring:
1. Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or related field with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience working in a product development environment.
2. Minimum of 4 years of working experience in application development/application QA for web applications.
3. Exceptional engineering skills, including coding, debugging, and design.
4. 4+ years of experience in testing/methodology preferable with Cloud Technologies, and Kubernetes.
5. Excellent automation skills with Java, Jenkins, Selenium, Azure Pipeline.
6. Practical experience in Linux/Unix environments, with strong skills in Bash scripting.
7. Solid experience in backend testing, component integration testing, performance testing, end-to-end testing, and data migration.
8. Hands-on experience on Selenium WebDriver.
9. Experience handling complex deployment stacks. Exposure to Public Cloud hyperscale’s, BTP Kubernetes is a must with CI/CD experience.
10. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate with detailed technical analysis.
11. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
12. Good experience in building tests, maintaining, enhancing with CI/CD pipelines.
13. Experience in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Cloud DevOps tools, monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Proven technical achievement as an individual contributor.
2. Working knowledge of testing scalable enterprise based on API.
3. Experience with automating test frameworks for web, microservices using Kubernetes.
4. Good in Database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL.
5. Experience in testing SaaS (Software as a Service) On-Demand enterprise solutions with Kubernetes and Cloud Platforms using automated test frameworks and applying AI for repeatable configuration management deployment for dev and production namespaces.
6. Exposure to SAP BTP/Procurement/Supply chain domain is a plus.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 190600 - 324500 (PEN) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
