Let's start with the role

Betano Peru is looking for a talented Social Media Specialist who can take ownership of the presence across the different Social Media platforms. It is expected from this person to help outline the right strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and ultimately, conversions from the different Social Media platforms. Candidates must have a passion for social media, best practices, features, and audiences, and a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry and be on top of the trends. Knowledge of the gambling industry would be a plus. The role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail but also the capability of thinking and acting fast upon the events that drive our business.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will:

- Work along with the creative agency to create dedicated content for Social Media, planned and real time;
- Collaborate with Content, Marketing and CRM when developing the weekly plan;
- Create, execute and report dedicated promotions and tactical offers;
- Monitor, together with the agency, competition and trends;
- Engage with the fan knowledge of client related industry trends and be proactive in data/info mining for rich/interactive content creation.

What you will bring:

- At least 2 years of work experience in roles linked to Social Media, namely working with Paid Social campaigns;
- A dual-minded approach: you are highly creative but also data-driven;
- Analyzing and reporting competencies;
- Excellent communicator and creative thinking, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions;
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts;
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone and voice for Social Media content.
