We are a multi-award winning, CBD based audit practice specializes in the audit of small to large organizations, NFPs, SMSFs, various types of trust accounts, etc. We are considered an established audit only firm with solid track record in Brisbane and has also expanded into other capital cities as well as internationally. We had won several awards from the Australian Accounting Awards i.e. Auditor of the Year and SMSF Auditor of the Year at either the state or national levels. We were also finalists in a number of categories since 2016 such a Fast-Growing Firm of the Year. We are continuingly on the lookout for like-minded people to join our team and grow together. About the role Our client base is constantly increasing and evolving and now requires an additional team player to assist with the increased workloads. You will be tasked with a portfolio of clients ranging from audits of SMEs, through to NFP organizations and other adhoc engagements i.e. review of internal controls, preparation of financial reports, etc. It is a varied role so flexibility and great time management skill is a must. Benefits and perks - Reimbursement of CA/CPA memberships and mentoring - CPD programs (mostly webinars) - No timesheet submission for the right candidate - Part of a fast-growing audit firm (we have offices in NZ and UAE) - Located in the CBD and close to public transports and food options Skills and experience - Be confident interacting with both clients and the audit team, and building relationships; - Have a drive for career progression, receiving mentoring directly from the director; - Work with clients in the NFP clubs and corporations, medium and larger private companies across energy, resources, education, motor, health and aged care, etc.; - Have occasional travel to client's premises both locally and interstate but main bulk of work is in the office; - Have end to end audit experience including client management (Must be willing to do detailed testing of transactions and balances all by yourself but there are two graduates to assist with your work at times); - Have 3+ years' experience in a similar role; - Have good project management skills to meet client's deadlines (job turnaround time is usually 3 to 4 weeks); - Have a strong commitment to client satisfaction; - Have the ability to provide coaching to junior audit team; - Have the ability to prepare a set of special purpose or general purpose financial reports; and - Have completed or near completion of CA/ CPA.
