Responsibilities - Proposition and planning: Design and develop the fiat wallet proposition and payments service, including developing everyday payments use cases and capabilities based on user demand - Growth: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape in the payments industry. Utilise analytics to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for growth - Go-to-market: Develop comprehensive GTM strategies for new payment products, features, and initiatives. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and business development teams to ensure effective execution of GTM plans and drive user adoption - Business development: Develop plans and creative solutions to drive Retail, HNWI, and Corp/ Institutions volumes and balances via the Fiat wallet, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external users, creating new revenue streams - Partner development: Manage relationships and develop new relationships with Banks, Credit and Financial Institutions, and Payment service providers, to drive improved payments network, competitive pricing, and worldwide coverage of global and local pay-in/out methods - Performance Monitoring: Establish and own key performance indicators and metrics to measure and monitor the performance and successes, analysing data to identify trends, issues, and executing opportunities for improvement - Develop and execute plans to enhance payment operations efficiency, scalability, and reliability, improving processes to streamline reduce cost, and enhance user experience - Regulatory Compliance: Work with regulatory colleagues to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards governing payments - Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of payment operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve departmental goals - Collaborate and drive teams across Product, tech, business, growth/marketing, communications, finance, to achieve result Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred - Proven experience (5 years) in payment management within the fintech or cryptocurrency industry, with a strong understanding of payments, Fiat, PSPS, analytics, market research, GTM strategies, and project execution - Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to drive business and operations improvements and inform strategic decision-making - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders - Results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to change and managing competing priorities effectively - Passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, with a genuine interest in revolutionising the global financial system - Bilingual English and Chinese are required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
