A key position for Wealmoor food group to support Regional Hub covering Iberian Peninsula, Mediterranean & North Africa. As a Peruvian Professional, you'll be based in Spain and be part of the supply value chain to enable on time in full at quality delivery of order fulfilment. Manage robust and timely crop program, communication and forecasting to enhance and achieve targeted customer service levels ensuring we are always developing value engineering, cost efficient and compliant and ethical supply value chains. Responsibilities - With the General Manager define and deliver the strategic direction of the regions core and seasonal product range. ❖ Ensure a customer-led approach to Technical Management — balancing Farm Compliance, Ethical Compliance and Packhouse compliance based on seasonality, and variety. ❖ Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, customer own and other relevant food safety and quality standards. ❖ Manage and review supplier performance, driving quality, reliability, and innovation across our supply base. ❖ Build and nurture relationships with external partners, including seed houses, third party growers, and regulatory support. ❖ Provide agronomic support to the growers when required, monitoring availability, service, forecasting and contribute to establishing a complimentary grower network. Who we need - A genuine passion and enthusiasm for technical and quality and driving good practice forward is required - Fully up to date with current food and regulatory standards, a working knowledge of common customer standards - Strong understanding of local and international supply chains - A proven record of maintaining systems to meet all product safety and compliance requirements - Stakeholder management experience Qualifications - Educated to Degree Level in Food Science, Horticulture or Agricultural Based Discipline or equivalent - Background in fresh produce food production/ processing gained through education and/or work experience - Internal & 3rd Party Auditing - Understanding of food supply chains, market influences and stakeholder priorities - Technical / scientific knowledge of the fresh produce sector including legislation, traceability and good practice - Knowledge and experience of food assurance schemes and their role in the supply chain - Confident communicator with an ability to credibly present both internally and externally as well as collaborate and communicate at all levels and build good working relationships - An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy - Ability to work at times under pressure but maintain an excellent rapport and customer service with external parties - Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at the same time - Logical thinker - Computer literate - Self-motivated, articulate and well organized - Fluent English and Spanish, both written and verbal. - Peruvian industry background with mobility to relocate in Spain.
