Job Title: Regional Project Delivery Director

Role Overview:

Golder Associates Ltd. is seeking an experienced Regional Project Delivery Director to lead our efforts in creating a best-in-class project delivery capability across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing a change programme that will ensure the region is a visible and valued contributor to the global Project Delivery Initiative community, create a collaborative community of project delivery professionals, develop and manage the adoption of integrated tools and processes, and position WSP as the employer of choice for the best project delivery professionals.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a regional project delivery strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, including country managers and regional sector leads, to ensure they understand the plan, status, next steps, and expected benefits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with global project delivery and operations teams to share best practices and drive consistency across regions.
  • Perform other duties and initiatives as may be required by Global Project Delivery and Operations.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in engineering, planning, or equivalent, with a track record of successfully delivering medium and large, multi-discipline, complex engineering and/or construction projects within a consulting environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Fluent Spanish and English language skills, with Portuguese being an advantage.
  • The legal right to live and work in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Peru, or Mexico.
  • Significant experience in delivering major projects in one of Golder's key sectors.
  • Leadership skills to ensure all operations advance together.
  • Experience in affecting organizational change within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, including writing standards/policies.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills - clear, concise, and tactful communication with senior management, clients, peers, and staff.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Negotiation skills within a context of political sensitivity and managing conflicting interests.

Location: The position can be located in any of our offices in Mexico, West Indies, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, or Argentina.

Salary Range: $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience.
