About World Business Lenders LLC.

This is a remote Contract/Consultant position, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

In a fast-paced environment, the Regulatory and Compliance Counsel will oversee all legal, compliance, regulatory and operational matters. Key responsibilities include providing advice on U.S. regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring timely and accurate internal and regulatory reporting, developing cost-effective compliance solutions, and managing licensing requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on U.S. regulatory and compliance matters
  • Coordinate an effective U.S. compliance environment and protocol
  • Ensure accurate internal and regulatory reporting
  • Develop cost-effective compliance related solutions
  • Manage multi-state residential mortgage lending licensing applications
  • Oversee compliance with applicable licensing requirements
  • Prepare required residential mortgage loan closing documents and disclosures
  • Develop and maintain relevant policies and procedures
  • Communicate with outside counsel
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a nationally accredited U.S. law school
  • 5-10 years' experience in regulatory and compliance in residential mortgage banking
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. federal and state residential mortgage lending laws and regulations
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Organizational, communication, and technology skills
  • Strong legal research and document drafting skills
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 11 paid holiday days per year, 100% remote working, and USD salary.
