Job Overview

You will lead our Geospatial AI team as Director of Geospatial AI at G42, overseeing the development, implementation, and management of cutting-edge geospatial data solutions that drive decision-making across various industry sectors.

Your expertise in geospatial analytics & data science will guide the team in creating innovative processing and analytics software for the geospatial landscape. Reporting to the VP - Geospatial Platforms, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects, integrating advanced technologies like AI, machine learning, and remote sensing into our portfolio of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of forward-thinking geospatial technologies, including AI, machine learning, and remote sensing, to create impactful solutions for clients.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for geospatial AI aligned with the company's vision and industry trends.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee the end-to-end development of geospatial products and services, ensuring they meet client needs and industry standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of geospatial analysts, data scientists, and engineers.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in geospatial analytics.

Requirements

• MSc in a STEM-related discipline or Ph.D. in Earth Observation (EO) with relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in AI, machine learning, and data analytics with a focus on geospatial applications.
• Strong technical proficiency in AI frameworks, cloud computing, and big data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, high-impact projects.
