Job Description

You will work with cross-functional teams to research and develop solutions that use machine learning to solve real-world problems across various domains as a Data Scientist at Space42. Your role will involve supporting both research and development functions to help design and implement a cutting-edge AI platform that can be applied to large volumes of data.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models to solve complex problems in defense and space technology, such as satellite imagery analysis, threat detection, and autonomous systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into geospatial, mobility, and satellite communication systems.
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for processing large-scale datasets from space and defense applications.
  • Conduct research on emerging AI trends and technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Evaluate AI models for compliance with ethical guidelines, security protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize AI algorithms for real-time performance in resource-constrained environments.
Qualifications
  • BSc in a STEM-related discipline or Ph.D. with a focus on CV (or EO) and ML, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in developing CV (or EO) and ML solutions.
  • Certification in AI/ML.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
