Neutrogena is a leading global skincare brand that delivers solutions for every skin type. With the help of Dermatologist, scientists and skin experts, we create products and resources to help you find exactly what skin needs. In China, Neutrogena has had a rich history with much success, and we are seeking an experienced individual to continue to ignite the brand’s growth.
This newly created role, Neutrogena Marketing Manager - China will be a member of the Asia Pacific team and will lead the Neutrogena business from China. The position is an individual contributor role, based in Shanghai China, reporting into the Skin Health Director in Singapore.
- Key Responsibilities
- Market intelligence leadership: Gain market insights to feedback into business strategy
- In-market competitive understanding
- Retail, media, O2O landscape understanding
- Trends & insights identification
- Track key performance indicators vs competition
- Distributor relationship building & support: Advise Neutrogena appointed distributor on the execution of global strategy and growth building blocks. Communicate and feedback on:
- Performance tracking and reviews
- Brand Equity & Asset guidelines
- Sales & Marketing strategies
- Portfolio definition including future pipeline/ innovations
- Supply and S&OP management
- Act as liaison between the Global team and local counterparts in select meetings in the year to share market intelligence & feedback from customers time to time.
- Represent voice of market in stakeholder forums.
**Qualifications**:
- A BA degree is required. Master in business preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience or a combination of sales and marketing experience is required. CPG marketing experience is preferred
- Proven track record in sales with extensive experience in operating with distributors. Experience in marketing is a desirable plus.
- Knowledge and expertise in offline retail and e-commerce
- Entrepreneurial leader, a go-getter with financial & analytics acumen.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Comfort to work with autonomy in ambiguity, and accountability of results.
- Ability to adapt to changing strategy while adhering to details for last mile impact.
- Comfortable to manage up and escalate when required.
