And if that’s you we would love to have you join us **Job Description**: The Mining, Metals & Cement (MMC) Industry Consultant engages at an executive level within MMC industries and its OEMs and EPCs segments to assist account managers in articulating outcome-based messages, and to assist with positioning Rockwell Automation in a market. Will assist customers in problem identification by bringing their deep industry experience, likely acquired over years working within the industry. Rockwell Automation will likely acquire this talent from the market by hiring at the peer level with those we are hoping to engage at customers. **Role and Responsibilities**: **External Dimension - Industry** **Development** - Understands and helps to understand what are the industry (customer´s) motivators, as well as their suppliers and main producers along the supply chain of the industrial sector for which he is responsible. - Knows the ecosystem surrounding industry customers, OEMs, Engineering firms, our partners who attend them, as well as our competitors and their partners. - Digital Enabled Mindset and Outcome based selling as part of her/his DNA. - Close gaps and understandings among industry (needs/trends) and Rockwell Organization (Sales / Business Units / Marketing / OEMs / EPCs / LPP / Channels). - Seek, Gather, Refine & Update Market Data. - Analyze and identify industry Trends and identify key drivers and initiatives, as well as identify gaps and opportunities in the market. - Participate in Industry Forums to learn/educate industry trends & Strength Network. - Participate in Industry Associations to gather industry intelligence & Strength Network and Drive/Influence solutions adoptions as well best practices. - Support Launches/Deployments of Initiatives / Segment, Products and Technology. - Develop Regular Cadence of BU Engagement on key accounts, opportunities and initiatives. - Support development of Strategic Business Partners. - Capture, Document and Prioritize Product Gaps with the Business Units. - Drive demand generation activities and initiatives beyond Account Managers action. **Internal Dimension - Sales Focus & Coordination** - Act as the first reference person to advise on the knowledge of the industry. Provides information about industry insights and industry trends. - Is the "to go person" to discuss and review an opportunity. - Provide guidance and support to Sales Team to choose the best path to increase probabilities to win, pursuing to expand and maximize our offering with Rockwell Automation and our partners portfolio. - The right resource to engage and involve at early project stages or opportunity. Supportive during WSP construction. - Go beyond and bring new business opportunities supporting accelerated growth. - Collaborate in BSR and Annual Planning with local and regional resources. Tropicalize/Land regional strategy execution towards the country/region of responsibility. - Business Review Process (Conversion Progress, Industry Segment Performance). Review & digest Country Report to identify gaps and opportunities. - Tag & Drive must win opportunities, leading the WSP. - Top / Target Accounts strategy development support [around industry/account]. - Industry Digital Advisor. - Improve Linkage to Key Global Accounts. Cascade global account initiatives to local accounts. Participate in Account Planning for selected target accounts. - Ensure Must win opportunities - Lead WSP execution. - Develop references and use cases of our entire portfolio, products, solutions, and services, specific to the represented industry. **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - +10 years of demonstrated experience in both IT and OT networks design and integration as well as related technologies (RA-Cisco & software platforms certifications are not required but adds value. - IOT / IIOT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-Subscription model type of experience. - 5 years of experience in the Mining industry. - Ability to travel within the region on a regular basis. - English language (Intermediate/Advanced speak and write). - Valid driver’s license. - Legal authorization to work in Argentina or Chile or Peru as required for the specific position.
