Quality Assurance Engineer- Remote

**Company Description**
- Create and continuously improve test plans and cases for new and existing products
- Write automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress
- Execute both manual and automated tests
- Critically review new product requirements from a quality standpoint and provide feedback to help improve them
- Identify and explain risks to non-technical stakeholders
- Implement and drive automated testing strategy and implementation for multiple systems and platforms
- Help to identify, troubleshoot, and respond to technical issues
**Qualifications**
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field - or - equivalent experience in software testing.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a tester, developer, or other relevant role
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with Automated testing tools and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to understand and execute Context Driven Testing
- Ability to define and develop project test strategies
- Ability to Identify tasks / dependencies / risks during backlog grooming / planning
- Ability to create tests from stories/requirements
- Ability to execute tests and record test results
- Ability to challenge the status-quo
- Ability to communicate effectively within and among departments with team members of all levels
- Experience working directly with relational databases and NoSQL is preferred
