** The HR Director - Asia will direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and regional Human Resource (HR) team, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

**Reports To**: Sr. Director, Corporate Human Resources

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversees recruitment activities for the Asia region.
- Identifies, evaluates, and solves hiring challenges.
- Compiles information about compensation and benefits packages based on market data.
- Standardizes Corporate HR initiatives and policies across the region.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with region and country specific laws and regulations.
- Supports, through dotted line reporting responsibility, the HR Managers within the countries comprising this region.
- Monitors adherence to internal policies, like the Code of Conduct, and conducts related investigations as necessary.
- Mediates and suggests solutions to employee disputes.
- Works with senior management, HR personnel, labor unions, and serves as the point of contact for employment relations.
- Oversees and supports the deployment of Talent Management initiatives.
- Analyzes data to report on HR metrics for informed decision-making.
- Provides general support with the Workday (HRIS) platform.

**Job Requirements**:

- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. Masters degree in Human Resources is a plus
- Proven experience in an HR Management role; regional role preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday HCM or similar HRIS system.
- Good understanding of the way a manufacturing organization operates to meet its objectives.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
- A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
