**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Proactive monitoring of events.
- Monitor the events generated and provide timely attention to them according to the priority matrix and/or escalation matrix defined in the process.
- Follow up throughout the lifecycle of open events.
- Review and close event tickets that have been resolved.
- Ensure proper logging and tracking of events in the event management tool.
- Detect, document and report all status changes of alerts, events, occurrences and exceptions by the monitoring tools.
- Analyze and classify detected events according to established parameters.
- Activate the Incident Management process and the routing of incidents to the corresponding support team.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Basic knowledge in Windows, AIX and Linux technologies.
- Basic knowledge in networks.
- Knowledge of ticket management tools. (Service Desk, Remedy, etc)
- Knowledge of event escalation flow (Alerts, Incidents).
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
