**YOUR POSITION WITH TNC**:
The Technical Program Analyst will be responsible for a variety of technical and management activities in support of the Ecosystem-based Adaptation for Regenerative Ranching and Agriculture (EbA R2A) Regional Program and country projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Paraguay.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
The Technical Program Analyst will be responsible for performing multiple technical and management activities in support of the EbA R2A Program Manager and the EbA R2A Program Management team. May be responsible of leading technical planning of meetings, workshops and committees, preparing technical reports, reviewing technical deliverables from external services to advance the implementation of the EbA R2A Program. May manage strategic communications for internal and external audiences, respond to donor inquiries and maintain project records. Uses TNC code of conduct and competencies as a baseline to conduct their actions and be an example for others. May include a combination of fieldwork (meetings, training and workshops) or be based entirely in an office setting, compiling information collected by others.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE**:

- Coordinate the technical planning for in-person and virtual regional meetings, workshops and committees for the EbA R2A Program including scheduling and coordinating technical logistics, defining technical agendas, participants and preparing and sending pre-reading materials (between others).
- Attend meetings and take minutes and notes for follow-up and execution of the EbA R2A Program
- Develop narratives, documents for semiannual report and coordinate with M&E specialist in progress reports
- Review technical deliverables for quality control and alignment to consultancy objectives
- Manages the Project Management System (i.e., asana) for EbA R2A Program objectives and recurrent tasks
- Manages and maintains electronic shared files and folders (BOX)
- Perform duties under general supervision and established guidelines;
- Make day-to-day decisions within the scope of work assignments and prioritize work independently;
- Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information;
- Does not supervise any staff, but may supervise volunteers, interns, or temporary staff;
- Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, agroecology, agronomy, natural resources management or related field and 2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects.
- Experience handling standard business communications.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Must provide proof of full vaccination from COVID-19.
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Multi-lingual and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
- 2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interact/communicate comfortably with a variety of stakeholders, including scientists, farmers and corporate partners.
- Ability to complete tasks independently within assigned time frames.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, with assignments sometimes coming from a number of sources.
- Ability to coordinate project information from a number of sources to populate databases, create reports and produce manual files.
- Experience utilizing databases for data entry and report production preferred.
