We are seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team in Latam based in Peru.

The Finance team provides timely and accurate financial and management information, reporting solutions, and operational support to maintain the high standard of service offered to our internal and external clients. The Finance team comprises Business Intelligence, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Systems, Finance Operations, Group Financial Reporting, Tax, and Treasury.

The Finance team in the Latam Region is a key part of supporting our offices in making the right business decisions. Our team works closely with global colleagues to deliver exceptional financial and legal services, particularly in insurance law, litigation, and corporate advisory.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role is a critical next step in expanding our financial management capabilities and supporting the leadership team with accurate, timely financial information.

You will be responsible for creating financial dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis, day-to-day transactional accounting, cash flow management, reconciliations. CPA coordination Payroll is handled by another team member, but you will ensure all bookkeeping data is accurate and ready for payroll processing.

**Financial Accounting & Reporting**
- Perform day-to-day transactional accounting, including cash flow management, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping data for payroll processing.
- Conduct regular bank, trust/IOLTA, and credit card reconciliations.
- Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Verify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

**Billing & Revenue Analysis**
- Analyze client billing, collections, and realization rates.
- Support timekeeper productivity analysis and billing compliance.
- Provide detailed reports on billing efficiencies and client profitability.

**Cash Flow Management**
- Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure financial stability, and prepare biweekly cashflow forecast

for all offices in the region.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Recommend cash management and credit management policies.

**Financial Strategy & Business Partnering**
- Partner with attorneys and leadership on pricing strategies, proposals, and profitability analysis.
- Track client proposals and awarded work, monitoring performance against goals.
- Research billing trends to identify efficiencies.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, forecasts, and actionable insights.

**Global Finance Collaboration**
- Liaise with the Global Finance team (London/Miami) to prepare balance sheets, P&L statements, audit schedules, and management reports.
- Assist in intercompany reconciliations and financial policy adherence.
- Work with HR and local suppliers (accountants/payroll) for smooth financial operations.

**System & Process Management**
- Support lawyers with expense entry, matter opening, and time recording in Elite 3E.
- Collaborate with the UK Elite team on system upgrades and issue resolution.
- Maintain strong internal controls for audit compliance.

**Required Experience & Skills**
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and or Finance.
- Strong technical accounting skills with attention to detail.
- Previous financial experience in professional services or a partnership environment.
- Advanced excel and financial modeling proficiency.
- Experience with Elite 3E (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
