Head of Finance - Shipping Line - Peru

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to work for a leading international shipping business.

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the effective financial management, control, reporting, and tax compliance of the business in Peru.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will work closely with the country and regional management teams.

The role will involve:

- Lead, guide and manage the Finance team.
- Ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.
- Coach and develop the finance team's technical skills, such as accounting and financial reporting, internal control, tax and regulatory compliance, proper documentation and filing, etc
- Work closely with senior management as a business partner in providing financial information and analysis to support decision-making.
- Drive forecasting and budgeting process
- Proactively manage the business's cash flow needs.

**Requirements**:

- 10-15 years of relevant Finance experience
- Experience within the container shipping or logistics industry is preferred.
- Experience working in a multinational business environment.
- Must have an Accounting degree or be CPA qualified.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls and procedures
- Previous experience leading a team is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in both verbal and written Spanish and English
