- As Assistant Store Manager you are the right-hand to the Store Manager You'll become well trained to cover all aspects of store operations, achieve key performance and financial objectives, as well as directional and performance planning. - Assists with the management of all aspects of Store operations including customer service, store condition and the selection, training, supervising, and performance management of Store Sales Associates
- Assists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store
- Collaborates with team members to ensure the store meets or exceeds the established merchandising standards for product quality, presentation and visual marketing/merchandising
- Keep up with reporting to support sales, earnings, and minimizing shrink
- Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager
- If this sounds like you, make sure you also meet these requirements:
- Two (2) or more years of retail management experience
- Prefer management experience in retail or grocery store environments but not required
- Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder height
- Schedule Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma / Equivalent
- Successfully pass our pre-employment checks, including a drug screen and criminal background check
