**Role Summary**:
The ComOps Staff Quoting Resource for AM is responsible for support of our sales team as related to our Aftermarket offerings. This role involves all customer facing activities related to the order acquisition process including proposal development, specification and scope review, pricing analysis, and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**: - Establish and maintain close working relationships with Sales, Operations, and other functional stakeholders to promote the best interests of the company
- Provides project management on complex request and complex or high-value jobs
- Timely preparation of high quality and proposals within limitations dictated by the customer or manager using designated workload management tools and processes.
- Interacts effectively with customers without supervision
- Demonstrates acquired specialization in multiple products
- For all products, identifies correct Flowserve solution to fulfill customer requirements
- Conducts detailed sizing calculations to confirm performance of selected product
- Manage and monitor the proposal throughout the entire bid cycle including updating and maintaining designated workload management tool, while monitoring hit-rate is optimized.
- Coordinate and manage sub-supplier requests, replacement parts and components, labor estimates and quotations related to aftermarket requests.
- Keep up to date with Flowserve innovations as well as heritage, to provide the best support to our customers according to our capabilities.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The successful contributor in this role should demonstrate proficiency in/or possess the following:

- For Application Engineer. Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent and/or 2-5 years related experience
- Technical skills and hands on aptitude
- Report writing and technical memos
- Oral and written communications
- Interpersonal skills
- Basic project management tools and methods
- Accountability and execution for completing work timely and to specifications
- Continuous Improvement (CI) participation.
- Being able to handle proposals with big volume of items to be quoted, including several AM products or services, with the required discipline to track the revisions require for them through the years.
