Electrical Engineer

**Responsibility**:

- Schedule and execute the activities associated with the process of connecting new facilities (connection points, lift substations, HV lines and NCRE plants), in order to obtain the approval of the national electricity coordinator and the companies involved, with the aim of carrying out commissioning of the new facilities, within the established deadlines, according to the specifications delivered and in compliance with current regulations.
- Carry out electrical calculations related to the design of the wind and photovoltaic park: short circuits, load flows, grid stability, power quality, harmonics, resonance, etc.
- Evaluation and specification of the design of the components of wind and/or solar farms, from the point of view of the electrical system, considering regulatory aspects such as: service voltage, active and reactive power limits, system stability parameters, etc.
- Analysis of official network codes and req Regulatory requirements for the connection of NCRE projects to the electrical systems of the different countries where the client is present.
- Management of the project connection process based on current regulations, considering what is indicated by the national electrical coordinator or the operator that appropriate, such as technical information, review of studies, review of equipment protocols, etc.
- Know and comply with the general and specific regulations of your job to collaborate with the company in the duty of protection.

**Requirements**:

- Professionals in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Civil Engineering, Electrical Execution with mention in electrical power or related.
- Good knowledge of English and Spanish ( spoken and written), knowledge of Portuguese is welcome.
- At least 3 years of experience in the required functions.
- Experience in managing the connection of projects to the SEIN, dialogue with the COES and affected companies.
- Knowledge solid electrical standards in Peru and technical procedures published by the COES in particular in the technical procedure PR-20:

- Entry, modification and removal of SEIN facilities (exclusive).
- Knowledge in electrical connection studies (power flow, stability and protections ), modeling and simulation of converters (wind and photovoltaic).
- Knowledge in homologation of dynamic models of NCRE plants.Advanced management of DIGSILENT.
- Preparation of technical documentation in English (EETT, etc.)
- Desirable knowledge in field tests for protection systems.
- Desirable knowledge in programming PHYTON, DPL, PSS/E, Matlab.
