**What You Will Do**

Platform Engineer, Kenvue Data Platforms is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Data & Analytics product line team We strive to positively impact the trajectory of personal health every day through powerful data and analytics solutions that drive innovation and unlock growth. You will partner closely with multiple Business partners, Product Owners, Data Strategy, Data Platform, Data Science and Machine Learning (MLOps) teams to drive innovative data products for end users. Additionally, you will help shape overall solution & data platforms, develop technical capabilities to ensure stability and responsiveness of the platforms to meet business and cloud computing needs by following best practices to optimize business outcomes.

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop and configure data platforms in partnership with architecture teams to build next generation capabilities that drive business growth.
- Contribute to proof of concepts and deliver highly secure, scalable, cost-effective platforms that align with the team strategy and vision.
- Focus on execution & delivery of highly reliable, high-quality data platforms aimed at maximizing business value through data products.
- Be an integral part of the data platforms operations, building and improving next generation data & analytics capabilities within DevSecOps framework utilizing modern technology stack.
- Work closely with the Business Analytics leaders to understand needs of the business; clearly articulating the story of value created through technology.
- Participate in prioritization and implementation of most appropriate combination of technology, tools & platforms to ensure optimal scalability, flexibility, performance and TCO of platforms.
- Be an expert and a thought leader of how data and technology come together to empower the business.
- Forge trusted partnerships and be an integral part of Data Engineering, Data Architecture & Platforms and Data Science teams to adopt, scale and build data products.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in Technology, Computer Science, applied data sciences or other related fields; advanced degree in related fields preferred.
- Demonstrated strength in examining issues, driving resolution & influencing effectively across the organization. Ability to challenge the status quo in technology & architecture.
- Superb interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
- 2+ years of data platforms experience in Consumer/Healthcare Goods companies and excellent understanding of business domains within the industry.
- 3+ years of progressive experience with developing & maintain data platforms for: ETL/ELT, data analysis, compute & storage, data pipelines, orchestration, metadata management & observability.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure) & cloud-based databases (Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience with platforms enabling data streaming (Kafka), microservices and data integration is a must.
- 2+ years implementing data platforms enabling data products through data mesh / fabric concepts.
- Minimum of 3 years of planning and execution using Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) within DevSecOps model.
- Ability to define platforms tech stack to address data challenges: different granularity, data gaps, sophisticated matching logic, multi-language, structured & unstructured; harmonization & normalization of data.
- Proven track record of being part of multiple high-profile projects with demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with defined resources. Ability to estimate required effort and prioritize work items appropriately.
