The APS5 Talent and Employee Experience Officer is a proactive HR professional working in the recruitment, onboarding, talent, diversity and employee experience space.
The team and role partners across the Museum to deliver timely, fit-for-purpose workforce solutions. The position plays a role in improving recruitment systems and practices, supporting employee mobility and onboarding, and contributing to people initiatives, including employee experience, capability, learning and development and diversity and inclusion.
**Key accountabilities**
- Actively participate in a small team to deliver end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction, learning and development coordination, diversity and inclusion programs and HR related projects.
- Provide advice on classification, merit-based selection to support equitable and strategic hiring decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and deliver timely, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Prepare recruitment reports and workforce insights to inform planning and support broader HR functions and priorities as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc work in other functions within the P&C team as required such as payroll and reporting.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Work Health and Safety (WH&S) by actively supporting a positive safety culture, following the Museum’s WHS policies and procedures, and complying with reasonable instructions to ensure alignment with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011
