Position Summary
TRANZACT is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A department. This position will be part of a collaborative team and work closely with other departments within TRANZACT to prepare and analyze timely and accurate financial information.
As part of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will be involved in developing financial models and reports to support data-driven decisions across business units.
The specific responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include
- Develop new operating and financial models to provide insight into daily financial performance at the department level.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including daily and monthly P&L statements.
- Analyze trends and variances in key financial metrics and provide insights into deviations against forecasts.
- Support the monthly financial close process, working closely with the accounting department and other stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing financial strategic support to business partners, including ad hoc financial modeling, profitability analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various departments to support company-wide initiatives and provide a financial perspective.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal FP&A processes, including improvements to financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
- Troubleshooting errors and discrepancies.

What you need to be successful
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced English level.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and the ability to interpret complex data to drive meaningful insights.
- Expert use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, including modeling datasets and designing dashboards.
- SQL intermediate proficiency (Select, Update, Delete queries).
- Python intermediate proficiency for data analysis (reading and modeling data frames).
- Solid analytical abilities, combined with being detail-oriented and diligent.

What we would LOVE to see
- Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
- Prior experience in financial planning tools.
