**Overview**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Architect and build modular, multi-tenant backend services using Node.js/NestJS and C#/.NET with Entity Framework
- Design and manage database architecture, including schema design, performance optimization, and migrations
- Secure patient data and ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance
- Design and optimize RESTful APIs and event-driven workflows for patient registration, form management, and consent processing
- Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, NUnit, xUnit) to ensure high code quality
- Implement and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) following OWASP Top 10 principles
- Collaborate with frontend (Angular), QA, and product teams to solve complex hospital workflow challenges
- Troubleshoot system and performance issues; configure robust logging, monitoring, and alerting

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience building backend services with C#,.NET, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Proven ability to design modular, scalable codebases
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and message queues (Azure Event Grid, Kafka, or Redis)
- Expertise in secure authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC)
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and relational database schema design and optimization
- Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework and Sequelize, including database migration management
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS)
- Experience configuring scalable and secure network architecture with tools such as Nginx and Azure services (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancer, Application Gateway)
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline configuration and management using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine, Cypress) for unit and integration testing
- Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at B2- C1 level or above.
