Bruks Siwertell is on the lookout for a sales engineer to join our Wood Technology business unit sales team. This position can be mobile and the person filling it can either have a home office in Asia/Europe, or be based at one of our offices in Arbrå, Sweden or Hirtscheid, Germany.
**Job description**:
As a sales engineer, you will be accountable for the pro-active processing and management of sales activities within your assigned work region, namely Europe and Asia.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- achieving sales targets
- managing new and existing customer projects and assisting with the planning of wood-processing plants
- negotiating quotations and contracts
- collaborating on engineering projects to optimize the productivity of customer plants
- providing technical and commercial support to local sales teams and representatives for new customer projects
- carrying out market analysis and implementing product management strategies
- providing project support to the project management team where necessary, to ensure that work is planned and managed effectively, and projects are delivered successfully
**Qualifications & experience**:
Applicants should be qualified to degree level, preferably in a relevant engineering field, ideally mechanical engineering or technology, or have equivalent engineering experience.
You will have at least three years capital goods _sales_ experience, preferably within the bulk handling and/or wood processing industries.
We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated person who is able to respond to pressure and overcome challenges. You should be focused on delivering quality, customer-centric solutions and services, as well as have the ability to manage and drive your own workload.
Please note, this role involves up to 30 percent international travel per year, so a willingness to travel is essential.
To succeed in this role, you should be fluent in both written and spoken English. Additional languages are advantageous, along with Microsoft Office proficiency.

- Aktive technische und kommerzielle Unterstützung der lokalen Sales Teams und Vertretungen in der Akquisition neuer Kunden und Projekte
- Durchführung von Marktanalysen sowie Implementierung von Strategien für das Produktmanagement
- Unterstützung des Project Managements beim Kundenkontakt innerhalb der Projektabwicklung

**Qualifikation**:
- Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Maschinenbautechniker oder Ähnliches
- Mind. 3-jährige Berufserfahrung im Vertrieb von Investitionsgütern, bevorzugt im Schüttgut-Handling, in Verfahrenstechnologien oder in der holzverarbeitenden Industrie
- Betriebswirtschaftliche Kenntnisse
- Kommunikations
- und Verhandlungsgeschick im interkulturellen Umfeld, Microsoft-Office-Kenntnisse
- Hohe Kunden
- und Lösungsorientierung
- Bereitschaft für eine internationale Reisetätigkeit 30 %
