Manager - Technical Sales

As a Manager - Technical Sales, you will provide strategic direction and progressive leadership in the assigned technical product category to sales vertical leadership. You will manage a team of project and/or sales specialists that sell technical services, products, and systems. **Responsibilities** - Create, manage, and promote execution of technical product sales, including execution of objectives and sales goals. - Manage a team that specifies products to meet customer requirements and needs. - Ensure that the team delivers compelling technical presentations that drive sales. - Partner with sales vertical leadership to develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts to identify and produce a steady pipeline of prospects. - Utilize technical acumen to educate the team on products, competitors, and prospects. - Nurture relationships with key customers and suppliers. - Partner with internal technical and marketing teams to utilize customer insights and market intelligence to contribute to the product roadmap. **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s Degree -Engineering or Business - Sales experience in related industry (5-7 years) - Strong computer skills - Excellent communication skills - Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor (3-5 years) - Management of staff and programs (3 years) **Travel Requirements** - 25% - 50% - WESCO International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates ("WESCO"), is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
