**What You Will Do**
Kenvue is seeking a Tax Process and Technology Manager within the Tax Technology team to own the run state processes related to Vertex O. The manager will work closely with Tax and IT to ensure that Vertex is operating efficiently and in compliance with Kenvue’s IT SOX standards.
The Tax Process and Technology Manager will be located in the Bangalore IT center and will report into the Tax Technology team.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Provide oversight and operation support of the Vertex O Series Tax Determination Engine and associated transactional ERP platforms.
- Lead Vertex O global support team.
- Provide master data support for material and customers by interacting with the Tax SMEs and the SC Master Data Team.
- Coordinate support and escalation of Vertex O issues with basis team.
- Create & maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions for Vertex O.
- Perform Change Control, User Access Management and troubleshooting of issues related to Vertex O.
- Perform Application Lifecycle Maintenance Activities related to Vertex O.
- Lead IT audits and SOX compliance related to Vertex.
- Perform data integration, data transformation specifications based on business rules, process methodology from source systems.
- Assist with Vertex O implementation and testing in conjunction with OneS4 and other process integrations.
- Provide data analytics to teams related to Vertex data.
- Support Indirect tax technology projects as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
**What We Are Looking For**
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required with a preference in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a U.S. multinational corporation is required.
- Experience with Vertex O Series Tax Determination is required.
- Ability to understand basic accounting and tax concepts is preferred.
- Knowledge of indirect tax concepts (Sales & Use / VAT) is required.
- Ability to understand IT terminology is preferred.
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners is required.
- Good organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and time is required.
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and promote innovation and continuous learning within the group is required.
- Ability to foster an environment that promotes collaboration, teamwork and development of people for optimal performance is required.
- Experience with Financial Reporting systems such as SAP, JDE, HFM, Cognos is required.
- This position is based in India and may require travel between sites depending on project needs.
- This position may require up to 10% international travel.
