Responsibilities

Provide a single point of contact for the finance and business leaders in Asia Pacific for all tax-related matters. Proactively identify and implement tax planning ideas. Partner with the Tax Department, business units and local tax advisors to implement tax planning ideas, including efficient transfer pricing policies within the region, with the US and EMEA. Coordinate with the Tax Department and local tax advisors on all tax matters affecting the Asia Pacific region, including audits and compliance. Coordinate with the Tax Department to design and implement income and non-income tax savings strategies in Asia Pacific region. Coordinate with the Tax Department to evaluate the tax impact of acquisitions and dispositions and to insure tax efficient integration of acquisitions in Asia Pacific. Monitor tax legislation and evaluate impact on Asia Pacific operations. Assist the Tax Department in obtaining necessary information and documentation for use with tax returns, tax planning, and cash tax forecasts and work with businesses in region to improve tax data collection processes. Identify and consult with Tax Department on any tax positions needing reserves.
