Search Director Job Description:
The Search Director's primary role is to manage service-oriented expertise and guidance for SEO and SEM. You have the overall goal of increasing the visibility of clients by increasing their rankings in target cities as well as relaying those results and the value of the results to CSDs in the form of reports.
Responsibilities of Search Director:
- Overseeing and executing Search Department's services which includes the ff:
- SEO, GMB Management + Optimization,
- SEM - Text Ads, Display Ads, Video/Pre Roll Ads, GMB Ads
- Developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
- Conduct keyword research to guide content concreation and onpage seo
- Executing tests, collecting and analysing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum site engage and high performing competitive keyword rankings
- Increase organic,direct or referral traffic volumes over various sites with the overall goal of increasing conversions
- Perform link building/outreach efforts
- Monitor weekly performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
- Preparing/assisting in monthly detailed reports
- Monthly/Weekly GMB Posting
- Stay on top of current SEO and marketing trends
- Remain actively involved in hiring and training search department's staff
- Conduct search training sessions for the team
**Requirements**:
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Clear Understanding of SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, Local Viking, Google Adwords
- Practical Understanding of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive Audits/WIT Test Reviews
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a consistent basis
- Practical Understanding of WordPress and SEO Plugins
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
- High verbal and written communication skills. Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Advanced Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Desire to learn, grow and have an excellent, team attitude
- Practical Understanding of Web 20 Ranker
