Hotel Director of Sales & Marketing (part of a luxury global brand) – Lima, Peru This is a leadership role within a prestigious global luxury hotel brand for a hands on and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing. The candidate will have an opportunity to shape the commercial success and market positioning of one of Lima’s premier luxury hotels. The Director of Sales & Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales, marketing, branding, and revenue strategies to position the hotel as a market leader in Lima’s luxury hospitality segment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will drive topline performance across all market segments while upholding the standards, values, and brand identity of a globally recognized luxury hotel company. The ideal candidate will bring proven luxury hotel experience, strong local market knowledge of Lima and Peru, and a successful track record within Latin America and the Caribbean. Profile & Qualifications Minimum 8–10 years of progressive Sales & Marketing leadership experience within luxury branded hotels or resorts. Prior experience with internationally recognized luxury hotel brands is essential. Strong knowledge of the Lima and Peruvian hospitality market; established local business relationships highly preferred. Experience working in Latin America and/or the Caribbean strongly preferred. Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proven ability to develop successful market-entry and repositioning strategies for luxury hotels. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with a polished, luxury-oriented presence. Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, commercial mindset and strong analytical capabilities. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, competitive luxury environment and lead diverse teams effectively. Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement the overall Sales & Marketing strategy to maximize revenue, market share, and brand positioning. Lead and manage all sales, marketing, PR, communications, and digital marketing initiatives in alignment with global brand standards. Drive performance across all market segments including leisure, corporate, MICE, groups, wholesale, and luxury travel networks. Build and maintain strong relationships with key local, regional, and international accounts, travel partners, tour operators, consortia, and luxury travel advisors. Provide strategic leadership to the on-property sales and marketing team, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture. Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to ensure optimal pricing, distribution, forecasting, and demand generation. Oversee the annual sales and marketing budget, ensuring ROI-driven decision-making and cost efficiency. Lead market positioning, competitive analysis, and brand visibility initiatives within Lima and the broader region. Ensure consistency and excellence in brand messaging, public relations, social media, and digital presence. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, roadshows, and community engagements locally and internationally. Maintain strong collaboration with corporate/regional brand teams to ensure full alignment with brand strategy and initiatives. Compensation Annual salary of US$84,000 Net.
