Company Description
VCM is a Professional Services Outsourcing company supporting businesses in the General Construction, Roofing, and Tech Industries, operating across the U.S. and Canada.
We specialise in recruiting, training, and developing professional talent, advising our clients on best practices and managing personnel under Peruvian labour compliance.
This is a full-time on-site, located in Santiago de Surco.
We're Hiring:
Attorney
What You'll Do
•Provide legal advice and support on corporate, commercial, and regulatory
matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
•
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, reports, and risk
assessments.
• Support internal stakeholders with legal guidance related to business operations.
•
Manage and follow up on legal documentation, filings, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
•
Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies aligned with business
objectives.
• Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
What We're Looking For
• Advanced or fluent English (written and spoken).
• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an attorney or legal associate.
• Experience handling contracts, legal documentation, and general corporate
matters.
• Exposure to working with businesses, startups, or corporate environments.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
• Contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
• Legal research and legal writing proficiency.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Ethical judgment and confidentiality.
• Proactive mindset and business-oriented thinking.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
