Role Summary

The Senior Software Development Manager will lead multiple engineering teams across the LATAM organization, driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable and secure technology solutions that support Paysafe's payment platforms in the region.

This role acts as a strategic engineering leader, responsible for translating global technology direction into regional execution. The person in this position will ensure teams deliver with quality and predictability, foster technical innovation, and build strong programs to develop engineering talent.

Working closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leaders across Latin America, North America, and Europe, this role will help shape the evolution of Paysafe's technology landscape, create alignment across initiatives, and scale engineering excellence throughout the LATAM organization.

Role Remit

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, coach, and inspire multiple engineering teams and managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and accountability.
• Translate Paysafe's technology strategy into actionable goals and ensure alignment with global priorities.
• Build organizational capability by mentoring emerging leaders and strengthening technical decision-making at all levels.
• Promote diversity of thought and collaboration across global teams to deliver outcomes that drive business growth.

Technical Direction & Delivery

• Oversee the development of complex, high-impact software systems, ensuring architecture and implementation align with global standards for reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Partner with architecture and product leaders to define long-term technology roadmaps and guide investment decisions.
• Drive engineering rigor in delivery—ensuring effective use of Agile frameworks, code quality, testing standards, and continuous integration/deployment practices.
• Ensure high service availability, security, and operational excellence across all LATAM engineering deliveries.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

• Operate as a key regional technology leader within Paysafe's global engineering organization, bridging local execution with global initiatives.
• Influence and align with peers in North America, Europe, and India to drive common standards, shared platforms, and delivery consistency.
• Provide visibility into progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership, fostering transparency and accountability across teams and time zones.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Encourage technical experimentation, emerging technology adoption, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
• Drive operational metrics and engineering KPIs that demonstrate progress toward higher velocity, stability, and quality.
• Lead retrospectives and learning initiatives that scale engineering maturity across the LATAM organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 9+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Proven success leading multiple teams or managers in a large-scale, cloud-based product environment.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and microservices-based systems.
• Strong technical background with the ability to guide teams through architectural and implementation challenges.
• Demonstrated experience scaling agile delivery practices and optimizing team performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
• English fluency required; experience working across multicultural, distributed teams preferred.
