The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Technology Advisor and become an integral part of our cutting-edge Go-To-Market team. As a certified expert in your field, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing technology solutions for our valued customers. Working hand in hand with our Kyndryl Consult Partners and customer partners, you will leverage your technical and solution expertise to drive targeted opportunities and exceed customer expectations.

As a vital member of our team, you will support Consulting, Advisory, and Architecture activities across Sales, Pre-Sales & Delivery, collaborating closely with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners. With your extensive technical knowledge and mastery of the practice-specific domain, you will bring together the breadth of Kyndryl's expertise to develop profitable deals that drive our success.

As a Customer Technology Advisor, you will possess strong technical and business acumen, allowing you to provide value driven solutions within the practice services domain(s). We are looking for a Customer Technical Advisor (CTA) with deep expertise in cloud data platforms, legacy application modernization, and enterprise architecture. This senior-level role supports clients in designing and implementing impactful data, analytics, and AI solutions—from early pre-sales to MVP delivery—while driving innovation, scalability, and business value.

As a professional, you are expected to exceed the technical and consultative expectations of the role, bringing strategic leadership, autonomy, and a strong track record in managing complex technology initiatives.

Required Experience

  • More than 8 years in technical pre-sales, data architecture, and solution design.

  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, orchestration, and data visualization tools.

  • Proven track record in consultative selling and translating technology into business value.

  • Experience delivering at least two MVPs in analytics or AI.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing technology teams, projects, and services across industries.

  • Familiarity with PMI, CMMI, The Open Group, SEI standards and best practices.

  • Participation in at least two MVPs in analytics or AI.

  • Experience with enterprise clients in banking, insurance, retail, or healthcare.

  • Background working with enterprise clients in industries such as banking, insurance, retail, or healthcare.

  • Advanced English

Key Focus Areas

  • Design and implement modern cloud-based data architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, OCI).

  • Lead legacy application modernization initiatives aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Drive short-cycle MVPs (6–8 weeks) in analytics or machine learning.

  • Support technical discovery, solution design, and proposal development.

  • Apply ETL/ELT tools, orchestration frameworks, and data modeling best practices (Lakehouse, Data Vault, Data Mesh).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, data science, architecture).

  • Leverage generative AI tools to enhance productivity and data exploration

Preferred  Certifications & Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

International certifications such as:

  • TOGAF, RUP, SCJP, BI

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer / Solutions Architect

  • Databricks Data Engineer Associate

  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer. AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty

  • DAMA CDMP. Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
