About Omega

Omega is a construction staffing company dedicated to connecting contractors with the right workforce so projects are delivered safely, on time, and with excellence. We operate in fast-paced construction environments and prioritize accuracy, compliance, and strong operational systems.

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the construction industry to fully manage our accounting and bookkeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries)
  • Manage payroll processing for field and internal personnel
  • Prepare, issue, and track invoices to clients
  • Manage vendor payments, client payments, and follow-ups
  • Track job-related costs and expenses related to construction projects
  • Maintain and update financial reports using Excel
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate with management to provide clear financial insights

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper
  • Required experience in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. taxes, including payroll taxes and basic business tax compliance
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Solid to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing payroll, invoicing, and payments
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely full-time
