Accounting Analyst

Salary: $1,100 - $1,300 USD (monthly) + paid time off & personal days

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant will oversee and execute accounting operations across the following key workflows:

• Trust Accounting
• Manage the rental income flow from tenant payments to owner distributions -ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Aid in reconciliation of property ledgers with third-party accounting data using Propertyware.
• Assist in delinquency and collections Management
• Respond to accounting inquiries from clients, tenants, and internal staff.
• Corporate Accounting
• Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
• Reconciliation in QB with 3 party company
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Payroll Processing

Skills:

• Experience in trust and corporate accounting (property management preferred)
• Proficient in Propertyware or similar accounting platforms
• Strong in A/P, A/R, and reconciliations
• Skilled at managing rental income, tenant payments, and owner distributions
• Knowledge of delinquency management and collections
• Experience with financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Familiar with payroll processing and expense tracking
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Understanding of GAAP and trust accounting rules
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Advanced English (Required)
• Proficiency in property management platforms (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, etc.) (preferred)
• Proficiency with accounting software, Excel, and reporting tools.
• High-speed wired internet connection (200 mbps min.)
• Windows 10/11 or Mac ( 4 GB RAM, Intel i5 or similar)

Setting: Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST (1 hr lunch)

Pay: S/.3, S/.4,405.00 per month
