Position Overview:

The Pest Control Setter serves as the critical first point of contact for current customers, proactively reaching out to schedule termite inspections for field inspectors. This role balances excellent communication skills with strong organizational abilities, ensuring every appointment is accurately scheduled and every customer receives exceptional service. Utilizing FieldRoutes, the Pest Control Setter manages both outbound and inbound customer communications, keeps account information current, and facilitates a smooth workflow between the office, field inspectors, and clients. Success in this role comes from a sense of urgency, self-motivation, and a genuine focus on customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place outbound calls to current customers to schedule annual or follow-up termite inspections for field inspectors.
  • Confirm appointments, coordinate convenient service times, and update accounts using FieldRoutes software.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by being helpful, friendly, and attentive to each customer's needs throughout every phone interaction.
  • Communicate confidently and clearly in English, ensuring all details and instructions are accurate and understood.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, address customer availability, answer questions, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain clear, accurate digital records, document all interactions, and consistently follow company procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with field inspectors, office staff, and management to maximize technician route efficiency and overall operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, outbound calling, appointment setting, or call center roles (pest control industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong command of spoken and written English; able to articulate services, answer questions, and resolve concerns with professionalism.
  • Motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, customer management systems, and FieldRoutes software.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to quickly build rapport and maintain customer relationships.
