We are looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for the daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of our Microsoft Azure infrastructure. This is an ideal role for a professional with 1-2 years of experience who wants to specialize in Cloud Operations, Security, and Cost Management within a structured environment. You will support the Development team by ensuring the infrastructure is stable, secure, and cost-efficient. Key Responsibilities: Azure Administration & Operations (80%): Resource Management: Provision, configure, and monitor Azure resources (Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, SQL Managed Instances) following defined standards. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including OS patching, backups, and performance monitoring to ensure 99.9% uptime. Support: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues (connectivity, permissions, server errors) supporting the Backend/Frontend teams. Networking: Basic management of Virtual Networks (VNETs), DNS settings, and VPNs. Security & Cost Control (20%): Identity Management: Manage user access and permissions using Azure Active Directory (IAM/RBAC) to ensure least-privilege access. FinOps (Basic): Monitor cloud spending daily, set up budget alerts, and identify unused resources (e.g., stopping VMs outside business hours) to keep costs under control. Security: Ensure firewalls and security groups (NSGs) are correctly configured. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or technical equivalent. 1-2 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure . English Level C1 (Advanced): Must be able to read technical documentation fluently and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration. Basic understanding of Networking (IPs, DNS, Ports). Familiarity with SQL Databases (backup/restore, connection troubleshooting).
