Reporting to the Quality and Safety Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of quality improvement, patient safety and risk management services. This position will liaise closely with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure medical engagement in clinical incident review and improvement. This is a full‑time position of 40 hours per week (1 ADO per month), to be worked from Monday‑Friday. Exact hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Candidate Qualifications Experience as a health professional and/or management experience in a related field Demonstrates the ability to apply consumer participation approaches and person‑centered care in practice Experience with incident management processes and systems, preferably VHIMS (RiskMan) Knowledge of the Victorian Health Incident Management System (VHIMS) minimum dataset requirements Experience with case reviews (eg. Root Cause Analysis or similar) and auditing processes Understanding of open disclosure principles and completion of the Safer Care Victoria (SCV) Statutory Duty of Candour training modules Experience mentoring colleagues and skill transference Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
